A fiatal mén minden szelekciós kritériummal – versenyteljesítmény, származás, küllem, valamint kiváló temperamentummal – rendelkezik így kivételes lehetőséget jelent a tenyésztők számára.
Versenyteljesítmény:
Écrivain kétévesen augusztusban győzelemmel debütált a deauville-i meeting legrangosabb maidenében. Ezt követően megnyerte a Groupe 3-as besorolású Prix des Chenes-t, Longchamp-ban. A következő megmérettetése a legnagyobb francia kétéves futamban volt, a Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere (Groupe 1) ahol a nyerő, majd későbbi francia 2.000 Guineas nyerő Victor Ludorum mögött egy hosszal a negyedik helyen végzett.
Hároméves pályafutását a Prix de Fontainebleau-ban (Groupe 3) egy második hellyel kezdte Victor Ludorum-ot maga mögé utasítva. Trénerének, Carlos Laffon-Parias istállóján 2020 nyarán egy betegséghullám vonult át mely Écrivain az évi karrierét negatívan befolyásolta.
Négyévesen Groupe 1 es szinten szerzett több pénzes helyezés után megnyerte a Groupe 3-as Prix Bertrand du Breuil Chantillyban. A verseny érdekessége, hogy ebben a mérföldes futamban Écrivain által elért legnagyobb sebesség, 70,06 Km/h azóta is az egyik leggyorsabb teljesítmény Franciaországban.
Ötévesen Amerikában futott, de az ottani versenystílus (mint a legtöbb európai lónak) nem vált be így lehetőség nyílt a kezdő mén megszerzésére.

Apja: Lope De Vega, Francia 2.000 Guimeas, valamint Derby győztes. Európa első öt fedezőménje között van évek óta. melyet mi sem bizonyít jobban, mint az a tény, hogy csak a 2022-es esztendőben több mint 60 egyéni „Black Type” lovat adott. Fedeztetési díja 125.000 Euró. Lope De Vega-nak egyelőre csak Angliában és Írországban vannak fedezőmén fiai melyeknek fedeztetési díja 8.000 és 15.000 Euró között váltakozik.
Anyja: Sapphire Pendant Írországban versenyzett és legmagasabb formáját az 1.000 Guineas Tral-ban (Groupe3) szerzett második helyével érte el.
